• Must be above 65 years of age.
• Must have a consistent history of contribution (meant for an entire body of work, not just a single achievement) over and above the call of duty throughout their career.
• Must have an exceptional contribution to the profession and development of medicine and its science in Nigeria.
• A significant impact being made on Regulatory Affairs and policy formulation in the healthcare sector.

Demonstrate how the contribution over the career of the individual has been of truly high quality which has enhanced the practice of medicine and its allied field in general

• Percentage number of citizens registered with the state health insurance program.
