Online Voting has Commenced for Nominees of the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award 2021

Online voting has commenced for the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award 2021 (NHEA) for nominees who were able to scale the first round of assessments by the NHEA Jury.

Reddington, Lily Hospital, Avon HMO, Sterling Bank, UBA, GE, SynLab and over 100 other organizations and individuals have been nominated.

Speaking on the nomination and voting, Moses Braimah, NHEA Director of Communication, Marketing & Strategy says, “Nomination closed on May 31st, 2021 with so many surprises and excitements. We are now at the final stage where shortlisted nominees will be voted for by the public and our team of inspectors will begin verification of claims made by nominators for nominees.”

Healthcare Federation to Collaborate with the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award (NHEA) has announced the postponement of NHEA 2020 due to the continuous challenges of the coronavirus pandemic ravaging the globe. Dr. Wale Alabi, NHEA Project Director, made the announcement in a mail written to the Award stakeholders recently.

“As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread and sustains its onslaught globally with no sign of abatement, it has become imperative that we formally inform you of the indefinite postponement of NHEA 2020 scheduled to hold on June 26, 2020 by 5pm at The Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.” wrote Alabi.

The Award has been postponed to a date that will be determined and communicated later by the LOC as they continue to monitor the situation.
