E-Voting for Healthcare Excellence Awards ends June 18

Electronic voting has commenced for the over 100 organisations and individuals nominated for the 5th edition of the Nigerian Healthcare and Excellence Awards (NHEA).The voting, which commenced on June 8, is scheduled to end on Tuesday June 18, 2018.
Winners will be announced at a grand ballroom ceremony on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Eko Hotel & Suites Victoria Island, Lagos.The voting portal can be accessed on the award website, www.nigeriahealthcareawards.com.ng.

NHEA Director of Communication, Marketing and Strategy, Moses Braimah said this in a statement.He explained that the award is aimed at recognising the achievements of personalities and organisations that have contributed to the growth and development of the Nigerian health sector in the last one year.The award organised by Global Health Project and Resources (GHPR) is in collaboration with Anadach Group, of the United States of America.

The award would recognise the rapid growth of Nigeria’s healthcare sector, the role of technology and the capacity of organisations and individuals to influence and set new performance standards in Nigeria and beyond.He said over 2,500 nominations were received from the public. “The Jury is expected to use the number of votes cast and report of the team of experts to decide the winners,” he said.

Some of the nominees are Abia State, Adamawa State, Diamond Bank, Sterling Bank, Access Bank, University College Hospital, Ibadan, and the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu.Others are Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Lagoon Hospital, St. Nicholas Hospital, Clinix, Pathcare, Afriglobal, and Nordica Fertility Centre.Other nominees include The Bridge Clinic, Lily Hospitals, Warri, and Nisa Premier Hospital, Abuja.
