Criteria

The award is given to financial institution that have created an inclusive business model that has led to the creation of sustainable, commercially-successful healthcare business entities that has expanded the access to healthcare service delivery in Nigeria.

Open to media organizations in Nigeria. We have the PRINT subcategory for this award.

Must have an inbuilt mechanism of sustaining itself.

    • REPLICABLE.

Must be replicable in most geo political zones removing all other unseen factors.

    • Devoid of any political slant or undertone.

Open to media organizations in Nigeria. We have the ONLINE subcategory for this award.

STATE GOVERNMENT HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME OF THE YEAR

The award is open to:

  • State Governments and the federal capital territory of the federal republic of Nigeria.
  • The program must be seen to be committed to the triad of Universal health.
  • Coverage via reducing the amount of out-of-pocket spending, increasing the nature of covered cases and the total number of the population covered.

 

Criteria

  • The number of new enrollees or percentage increase of new enrollees annually.
  • New health financing packages and models.
  • Geographic spread of enrollees within the state.
  • Percentage number of citizens registered with the state health insurance program.
  • State with automated health insurance platform for access & management.
